Since it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, and I’m still working on the next chapter of Brilliant Minds, I figured I’d do one of these posts in the meantime. Here are some unused screenshots from game play and staging that either amused or interested me, starting as far back as right before the Wainwrights’ trip to Shang Simla through the most recent chapters.
This Thursday I went back to one of my Sunset Valley past saves that I played several weeks in. It was the last day of winter (week 3, day 7) and while I was playing, I’d styled sims as they aged up, and moved in original townie sims to match their age for the setting. The original file was set six game weeks prior to the default start, so some of the younger sims hadn’t been born yet, or would have been generic burrito babies.
I searched out young versions of original SV sims I either hadn’t posted pictures of before, or posted very few pictures of in previous posts.
We’ll start with everyone’s favorite inappropriate computer whiz, Cycl0n3 Sw0rd, as an adorable little scamp. Who probably wasn’t called “Cycl0n3 Sw0rd” then, but he doesn’t like to talk about that.
I tend to keep screen captures I get from programs outside of the Sims games in different folders. I went looking for a specific one, and found several amusing UI popups that I’d forgotten I grabbed a while back. Some were from one of my past Sunset Valley saves with teenage Boyd Wainwright, and others from throwaway saves where I was testing stuff related to the science station cloning feature and the Seasons alien abductions.
