In the spirit of celebration and partying, as many of us do on this holiday, I went through some old screenshot folders from various past saves. (NSFW tag for one image behind the read more tag.)
Go out! Have fun! Hit the bubble bar, and blow purple bubbles out of your nose!
Be sure to put on your best outfit for the occasion, too.
Even if all you’ve got is a seedy local dive, go there anyway.
This one was from a play test where I turned Mosquito Cove into a dive bar. And yes, that’s Boyd with shaggy hair and not having shaved for a week or two. I tried out different looks on some sims in that save. I ended up not caring for that particular look on him much, though.
How much juice did Susan have that she table danced in a seedy dive bar? Take care that you don’t have a few too many, and end up doing something you never want posted on social media!
You may also want to avoid foods that are too spicy…
And not freak out when Bonehilda comes out to clean up your mess.
Remember to mix a proper cocktail for your guests, like everyone’s favorite local representative, Vita Alto, always does.
Just don’t have too many, or you may end up like her daughter…

But no matter what you do, always keep that stride of pride when you strut out of your New Year’s party in a hot dog suit!

My previous Boyds can’t even grow facial or body hair. But for my future ones… who knows?

You’d think Dorie of all sims wouldn’t care about the stylist fail interaction, but I guess even she has a limit. The half shaved head, most likely.
As for Boyd, facial hair doesn’t tend to be flattering on him due to the coloring. It’s been too long to remember for sure, but I vaguely recall switching around what colors were in what slot of roots/tips/highlights/base to get it so his stubble didn’t look super dark and rather unnatural.
